In the last decade, pervasive computerization and the development of artificial intelligence technologies have led to the emergence of the concept of “smart” systems, environments and industries, including a set of technologies, methods and organizational approaches to ensure higher efficiency, productivity, quality and flexibility of modern production, while reducing the cost of material, energy and labor resources. The characteristic features of “smart” environments, for example, a “smart” city or home, are remote control of devices and communication between them, receiving and distributing information from sensors and sensors, the ability to make decisions and control actuators, i.e. devices that perform any action in response to a certain signal from the environment. A distinctive feature of smart manufacturing is the use of intelligent information systems and digital platforms covering the entire life cycle of technical systems (products, machines, other products) - from the design stage to their disposal. Automation is at the heart of all smart environments, systems and industries.
