Abstract

The paper presents data on plasma technology for processing production and consumption waste into energy (electric, thermal, hydrogen, biofuels) - the WtE concept. Calculations of the Complex of a high-temperature plasma converter (VTPC) and its modifications: VTPC + H2 and VTPC + BAT are presented. The prospects of using the VTPK + BAT Complex, which provides a degree of internal CO2 utilization of up to 88%, and an almost complete replacement of natural gas with biodiesel and combustible components of pyrogas, are noted. The VTPK + BAT complex guarantees the recycling of waste and the sale of all manufactured products: electricity, thermal energy, basalt-like slag, carbon dioxide (for growing microalgae), alga biomass (feed in animal husbandry), biodiesel. To implement the WtC concept, it is proposed to process glycerin and hydrogen obtained in the VTPK + BAT Complex into a wide range of chemical products. Based on the VTPK + BAT Complex, the structure of a regional agro-industrial and communal cluster is proposed. From the standpoint of the WtE and WtC concepts, the effectiveness of various modifications of the VTPC Complex is compared.
