Abstract

An example of a “curse” is an industrial technological installation for the production of expanded clay sand near the city of Samara. Dust emissions into the atmosphere accounted for 30% of the raw material consumption in the installation. Within a radius of 1.5 km around it, the entire surface of the earth, roads, foliage of trees, grass, greenery in garden beds was covered with a thin layer of red-brown dust. Only the rains washed away this coating on the ground a little. How the local residents cursed this installation and its director!
