Abstract

Natural gas is one of the most significant energy resources. The main consumers of natural gas are enterprises in the energy sector (thermal power plants, state district power plants), the municipal sector (boiler houses), the chemical industry, the metallurgical industry, the household sector (stoves, individual boiler houses), and the automobile sector - as motor fuel. In Russia, active work is underway to create small-scale production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and its consumption facilities - storage and regasification reception systems (SRRS), designed for autonomous gasification of populated areas.
