Abstract

Modern technologies for waste processing and equilibrium plasma chemistry are based on plasma technologies for heating gas using plasmatrons. When heating gas in electric arc plasmatrons, erosion of the electrodes occurs. When using HF plasmatrons, gas is heated in an electrodeless HF discharge. The work is devoted to the problem of determining the parameters of RF plasmatrons at the pre-design stage. The sequence for calculating the characteristics of an induction HF plasma torch is given.
